If you're really getting into supporting DC united, perhaps you want to share the experience with some like minded fanaticos? If so, consider the following:

[edit] La Norte
La Norte have staked out, as their name suggests, the north side of the stadium. First established in 2001, these supporters originally stood directly behind the north goal. Since the reconfiguration of RFK to accomodate the baseball Nationals, La Norte have shifted slightly, and now proudly show their love for all things black-and-red in Section 118.
La Norte have a website with much more information, including what they are about and how to join: La Norte
[edit] The Screaming Eagles
The Screaming Eagles are perhaps the largest of the supporters' clubs, with a hard core of fans who date back to the announcement of the new D.C. United franchise in 1995. Today, the Screaming Eagles occupy "The Nest" in Sections 132, 133, and 134, just to the right of midfield on the "loud side," or east side of the stadium. As their membership (over 600) and attendance (over 300 season tickets, plus many single-game attendees) continue to increase, though, The Nest is growing with them.
You can learn much more about the Screaming Eagles at their website: Screaming Eagles
[edit] La Barra Brava
Perhaps the most vocal of the supporters' clubs, the Barra Brava (Spanish for "Brave Fans") with their massive flags and drums and loud, passionate support, are an intimidating presence to opponents and a sight to sore eyes for D.C. United players and fans. The Barra Brava may be found in Sections 135, 136, and 137, just to the left of midfield on the "loud side" of the stadium, though with increased membership and attendance, they, like the Screaming Eagles, are now expanding into adjacent sections.
The Barra Brava are more than just a group of people who meet together at United games, though. They are also quite involved with D.C. United's United for D.C. community outreach program, and members of the Barra have been known to get together to watch international soccer matches, have even invaded the Verizon Center for Washington Capitals hockey games, and they of course send a hardy contingent of supporters to United away games all over North America.
La Barra Brava's website, with much much more information, may be found here: La Barra Brava
[edit] An Important Notice
Passionate supporters of D.C. United can be found throughout RFK on game days. You don't have to stand with one of the three big groups to demonstrate your love of the Black-and-Red. But if you feel like you're ready to kick up your support a notch or two, keep in mind that all three groups stand firmly united against violence and racism, and are just as firmly united in favor of diversity and inclusiveness and good sportsmanship.
